DePaul Central Rebrand

CONTEXT:
DePaul Central is the one stop for all the financial needs of DePaul students. They provide services by sharing information through their website, mail, social media, and offices in both the Loop and Lincoln Park campus of DePaul. When I was brought on the team as Marketing and Communications Assistant for Financial Fitness, I also had the opportunity to work with the team to create content for DePaul Central social media pages. This included creating graphics and designing for their Twitter, Instagram and even YouTube pages.
PROMPT:
I proposed a new and updated brand identity for DePaul Central on social media. The proposal was accepted and I came up with a more uniformed modern and professional identity which would be used over web and print. The goal of the rebrand was to create an identity that was recognizable to the students while making them more familiar with DePaul Central, especially in the digital space. The social media content would include infographics and flyers for information and resources for the DePaul students. Photography was also done to give students insight into the offices and get familiar with the people of DePaul Central.
Peer Financial Advisors Content
CONTEXT:
DePaul Central's Financial Fitness Program provides free services, resources and tools to help DePaul students manage costs and become more financially literate. One of the new additions to the Program were Peer Financial Advisors (PFAs) which were DePaul students would help their peer DePaul students with financial literacy and education. The Program wanted to create a more open and welcoming space for students for students wanting to become financially fit.
PROMPT:
I was prompted with creating flyers, profiles, and social media content for the events hosted by the PFAs. The main goal was to make the DePaul students welcome the PFAs. The students were also to be made aware of the services and resources offered by the PFA's and DePaul Central as a whole. The content was created for both online and print mediums.
